B: Pen and grey ink and wash over black chalk within black chalk framing lines; signed with initials in pen and grey ink lower left: AoRo (?);
C: Pen and grey ink and wash over black chalk; bears inscriptions verso, in pen and brown ink: felippo Francisi / Giuseppe Sgambella and also bears several inscriptions in black chalk, some barely legible: foglie del...../f foglie del corpo del vaso
Condition
A: hinge mounted at upper margin. Overall in very good condition. Brown stain at the lower right corner and some around the edges. Medium remains strong and vibrant.
B: hinged to mount at upper margin. A couple of circular brown stains in the upper left corner. A small repaired hole located just above the ink pot to the right of the sheet. Some surface dirt. Pen and ink and black chalk remain strong.
C: hinged to mount at upper margin. Several creases throughout the sheet. Lower and right margins are uneven. Some splashes and studio stains, some surface dirt. Medium still strong
