Condition

Movement running at the time of cataloging however was not tested for accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion and expense. Case is in fair condition with light scratches overall, polish to the edges, some scuffing to the bezel, edges of the case band worn notably around the screws. As noted on the Extract, the case was replaced by Patek Philippe in 1984.

Catalogue Note

The presently offered lot, known as the 'Jumbo' model, is the largest of the vintage Nautilus series. Ref. 3700 was launched in 1976 and was designed by Gerald Genta; its final official listing was in the 1986 Patek Philippe catalogue. 

As noted in the Extract from the Archives, the case was replaced by Patek Philippe in 1984 during a service.
