Perhaps the most recognizable athlete in American basketball today, Kobe Bryant is the shooting guard of the Los Angeles Lakers. He has played for the Lakers his entire career since joining the National Basketball Association (NBA) directly following high school in 1996. While winning 5 NBA championships is chief among his accomplishments, he has also been a 17-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team and 12-time member of the All-Defensive Team, as well as a gold medalist at the 2008 and 2012 summer Olympics Games. It would certainly not be an understatement to say that he is one of the top NBA players of the past 20 years.   

The present lot is one of three made in pink gold with the present configuration. The movement is composed of a chronograph which is tied directly to the tourbillon cage, and features a 'black mamba' snake weaving itself among the subsidiary dials.
