Catalogue Note

Winner of the Best Innovative Watch award at the Grand Prix d’Horologerie de Genève in 2012, the HYT H1 combines futuristic aesthetics and classic horology with fluid technology. Two large cylinders are the focus of the multi-layered dial, and as time passes fluid is pressed from one through the clear tube around the dial, indicating the hour. Once the hour reaches 6 o’clock, the fluid is released and returns back to the originating piston, to begin progressing for the next 12 hours. This is achieved through a mechanical movement to the top half of the watch, which houses the cam influencing the fluid pistons, as well as the dial for the minutes, seconds and power reserve.
