Overall in very good condition. The gilt bronze surfaces throughout display a rich patina, showing gentle rubbing, a few scattered light surface scratches and very light surface soiling to some of the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and gentle use. The bronze surfaces with a few small and minor areas of discoloration. The inset favrile glass appears original and undisturbed and displays rich palette of yellow and warm caramel colored hues. The backplate to the reverse with a few areas of minor discoloration, scattered surface scratches and areas of light rubbing to the patina. The backplate appears to retain the original easel stand and associated hardware. The clear glass front with scattered shallow surface scratches and minute edge chips throughout, none of which are visible once the glass is installed in the frame. A very charming frame displaying elegant proportions and scale and finely articulated decoration.
