Overall in very good condition. The gilt bronze surfaces throughout display a rich patina, showing gentle rubbing, a few scattered light surface scratches and light surface soiling to some of the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and gentle use. The bronze surfaces with a few small and minor areas of discoloration. The inset favrile glass appears original and undisturbed and displays strong coloration of mottled green, orange and yellow hues. The backplate to the reverse with a few areas of minor discoloration, scattered surface scratches and areas of light rubbing to the patina along the lower edge adjacent to the easel stand. The backplate appears to retain the original easel stand and associated hardware. The beaded border decorative device continues to the easel stand. This frame is offered without a clear glass front. This frame presents beautifully with strong visual presence, displaying finely executed pine needle decoration which is elegantly contrasted by the rigorously mottled favrile glass.
