Overall in very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich russet brown and green patina, showing gentle rubbing concentrated to the perimeter side contours consistent with age and gentle use. The inset mosaic favrile glass is in very good condition, all appearing original and undisturbed. The glass displays a vigorous linear decoration and is beautifully iridized, showing strong luminous coloration. The underside is partially covered with an old piece of fabric. When viewing this paperweight firsthand the coloration of the bronze and favrile glass is more nuanced and less saturated than seen in the catalogue illustration. A particularly fine example of this rare paperweight model.
