Condition

Overall in very good condition. The “Lily” shades are in very good condition and are a well-matched assembled set displaying complementary form and coloration. The shades are beautifully iridized and when viewed with reflected light display strong luminous color and a range of saturated jewel-tone hues. One Lily shade with a small and minor surface fleck to the top aperture rim, and a few other shades with some minute surface flecks to the top aperture rim, all exceedingly minor and entirely concealed when the shades are installed. The gilt bronze surfaces of the “Lily” base with light surface soiling throughout, and with one minute area of surface oxidation to the lower base. A few of the gilt bronze stems with some minor irregular bending. The gilt bronze surfaces appear to be in untouched, original condition and would likely benefit from a sensitive cleaning to revitalize the surfaces throughout. The base retains its original gilt bronze “lily pad” switch which is fully functional. All of the interior porcelain sockets and gilt metal floral bobeches appear to be original and undisturbed. The screws present in the base plate are likely period, but possibly not original to the lamp. A very attractive example of this iconic model displaying a beautiful set of “Lily” shades.
