the slender ovoid body divided into eight lobes, surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck, delicately painted to the exterior in underglaze-blue and overglaze-enamels, depicting leafy branches issuing red chrysanthemum and camellia blooms, the rim encircled by pendent lappets with foliate extensions, Japanese wood box

Condition

There is a small 6mm crack to the rim and minute rim chips, glaze cracks to neck and wear to the enamel. There are also two firing cracks to the lower part of the body.
