each modelled as a standing figure with hands clasped before the waist supporting a gilt rectangular attribute, wearing long robes and an elaborate headdress, incised with facial features; together with a pair of gilt-bronze hair pins and green glass double-gourds, Japanese wood box

Tokubetu tenkan toyo kodai galasu ten [Ancient glass from Orient], Tokyo National Museum, Tokyo, 1978, cat. no. 502.

Condition

Figurative Plaques: These are in good condition. Hair Pins: These are in good condition, but have some malachite encrustation from burial. Glass Double Gourds: Both have been chipped to the their tops.
