Catalogue Note

"This Traslado is very rare and is cited by neither Leclerc, Salva, Palau, nor Rodrigues. Although it bears no date it was printed in 1640. It contains an account of the forts and ships captured from the Dutch by the Spaniards and hopes for the expeditious restoration of Pernambuco.... I only know of the existence of the copies in the New York Public Library, the John Carter Brown Library, and the Municipal Library of Sao Paula" (Borba de Moraes).
