Béchard, a few by P. Sébah, contemporary RED MOROCCO, upper covers titled in gilt, gilt edges, gilt morocco turn-ins, some fading, light scattered spotting, bindings slightly rubbed

Béchard opened his photography studio in Cairo around 1869. 'His work is distinguished by the superb quality of his prints and the generally spectacular presentation of even the most common sites, such as the pyramids.' (Perez, N., Focus East (1988), p.132)
