Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 4 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The shade with scattered minor surface dirt. The shade leading displays a particularly rich and vibrant russet brown and green patina. The patinated surfaces of the base with surface wear, rubbing to the high points of the design (most notably on the cushion base), surface soiling and discolorations consistent with age and use. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. With a period finial which retains a rich russet brown and green patina. A beautiful example of this graceful “Tulip” model, displaying a highly artistic and nuanced glass selection. When viewed firsthand the coloration of the lamp is warmer and slightly less red than seen in the catalogue illustrations. -----
