Condition

Overall in very good condition. With some minute air bubble inclusions and a few small open air bubbles on the vase interior below the upper rim, all inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. The exterior with some very light and minor surface scratches along the midsection and lower register of the vase. The richly colored blossoms are exquisitely articulated, and the composition rhythmic and lyrical, imparting the vase with tremendous visual interest and movement. The Anemone blossoms are articulated in brilliant hues of deep orange, magenta and ultramarine, which are strikingly positioned amidst a field of abstract leaves and vines. The interior and exterior are beautifully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminosity and visual depth. Please note that the catalogue photography was taken with both frontal reflected and interior remitted light; when viewed under standard reflected light conditions the vase is slightly less saturated and less yellow in coloration; the coloration is more subtle and naturalistic. An outstanding example of Tiffany's paperweight technique distinguished by its impressive scale, highly artistic decoration and strong coloration. -----
