Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The top aperture rim of the shade with a few small edge chips which is not visible once the shade is installed in the floor base. The shade with a few minor traces of surface residue on the exterior and interior. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich marbled green and russet brown patina. The bronze surfaces with some surface scratches, abrasions and surface soiling to the recessed contours consistent with age and gentle use. The socket and paddle switch are later, likely dating from the midcentury, and the base appears to retain the original bronze screw terminals which secure the shade. The impressive shade displays outstanding color and beautifully articulated feather decoration. The exterior is intensely iridized, and when viewed with reflected light displays strong luminosity and a range of brilliant jewel-tone hues. -----
