Condition

19 3/4 in. (50.2 cm) height of shade. Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 5 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, all which appear stable. The shade presents beautifully when viewed firsthand with nicely mottled glass ranging in from hues of fiery yellows and oranges to brilliant rich green hues. When viewed firsthand the coloration of the glass is more varied and nuanced than seen in the catalogue illustration. The bronze work on the shade displays a particularly rich and satisfying green and russet brown mottled patina. The mount immediately above the shade and hook are original with accompanying hardware (ceiling canopy, and chains) that have been replaced and display a corresponding patina to the shade. The hardware with light surface wear, abrasions, rubbing, and some scattered traces of surface oxidation. The sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. A rare and charming chandelier form with elegant proportions. -----
