Condition
Overall in very good condition. With several air bubbles inclusions of varying sizes scattered throughout, as well as what appears to be some minute open air bubbles on the exterior surface, all which appear to be inherent in the making and not visually detracting. The exterior with a few very light surface scratches. When viewed firsthand the vase displays great artistic complexity and layering to the carved agate decoration and is more nuanced than seen in the catalogue photography, which is slightly too heavy and over-saturated. An outstanding example of this rare technique displaying superb scale, decoration and color. -----
