Overall in very good condition. With some small and minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. As is common with this very rare and delicate technique, there is one very small tight hairline to the midsection of the outer lattice Diatreta decoration which appears stable. The Diatreta decoration with a few irregular points inherent to the design. With some light surface soiling behind the Diatreta decoration in the recessed portion of the design. The full exterior and interior of the vase are beautifully iridized, and when viewed with reflected light the vase displays a brilliant range of luminous jewel tones. In particular the foot of the vase with brilliant cobalts and violet coloration which adds wonderful depth to this small scale design. The underside of the foot with very faint surface scratches. When viewed firsthand the colors are slightly less saturated than seen in the catalogue photography. A superb example of this exceedingly rare technique displaying strong scale, color and iridescence. -----
