The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are irregularities to the upper left and lower left corners of the stretcher and some light canvas draw to the right corner. Close inspection reveals some hairline cracks with a few small associated losses to the right edge and top right corner. There are some short and stable cracks to the three central crescent shaped elements and to the letters. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
