Original canvas. There are some small areas of minor drying craquelure visible under close inspection, and a small spot of paint flaking with some lifting craquelure in the head of the animal skin. Ultra-violet light reveals notably areas of retouching to the figure's skin tones, a thin line next to the right of her back, and in the lower right corner in and around the signature. Overall the work presents well under normal light. Presented in a decorative gilt frame, with a Greek key decorative motif around the edge.
