Description

  • PORCELAIN
  • 11.3cm., 4 1/2 in. high
each of octofoil form, painted with landscape scenes, one with panels of fine European figures at various pursuits, the other with a continuous scene of merchants with their wares beside an extensive quayside with distant boats on the water, each separated by gilt vertical bands, the interior rims with gilt scroll borders, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numeral 10 to both,

Condition

Both have some wear to the gilding along the top edge of the rims. One cooler has four areas of re-gilding to the band at the rim on the outside edge..
