Condition
The board is bowed and stable. There is a milky varnish preventing UV from fully penetrating, however UV light reveals some fluorescence which appears to pertain to the unevenly applied varnish. There are lines of wood splitting to the support, with fine vertical splits visible to the recto. There are some light scratches to the surface to the background in the right half of the work. There are a few small spots of filler in some holes in the board, predominantly to the vase, and there appears to be a spot of gesso at the centre filling a loss. This work is in fair condition.
