Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The colour overall is slightly darker and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Attractive choice of specimen marbles. The marble top has been restored mainly along the verde antico border but this has been well executed and is hardly noticeable. There are also some very minor restorations and areas of infill to the specimen marble top. Evidence of old very minor worm which appears to be no longer active. There are old very minor restorations to the top and base of the walnut support. Some old very minor chips and scuffs to the walnut boarder to the top. There are some scattered hairline age cracks to the plinth base but these are hardly noticeable.
