Description

  • Gilt-Bronze, Rock crystal
  • 88cm. high; 2ft. 10¾in.
with a central candle-nozzle supporting a prism with six scrolling branches raised on a shallow bowl and faceted stem, on a leaf-cast and moulded stepped marble base with beading

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Old minor marks and chips to rock crystal. The piece is slightly wobbly and the thread needs tightening up. The prism is possibly a later replacement. The gilt-bronze is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. One pear shape drop is off but present but can easily be reattached. The marble base is a bit dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste.
