Catalogue Note

This pair of engraved mirrors are rare due to their original green glass frames, as most of the recorded examples are either contained within walnut or giltwood frames. Whilst coloured glass is rarely recorded on Venetian mirrors and furniture, it is even rarer to find frames in this material.
