Catalogue Note

The demi-lune form of this commode was much employed in Turin in the last quarter of the 18th century for furniture in the Louis XVI style. The neoclassical decoration on this commode has been inspired by the work of Giuseppe Maria Bonzanigo (1745-1820), who worked for the Savoy Court.
