Description

  • Parcel-Gilt, Painted
with scroll and leaf carved cartouche padded backs, drop-in padded seats, on leaf carved turned tapering legs

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy. Gilding nicely worn to the red bole in places as visible in the catalogue photograph. Attractive craquelure. Rear legs slightly scuffed. There is some flaking and minor losses to painted decoration.
