of pear form with scroll handle, painted on one side with a Kauffahrtei scene depicting merchants in discussion at the quayside, figures around a boat behind, the reverse painted with figures and a horse in a landscape, inside a gilt cartouche embellished with purple scrolls, the domed cover painted with two Kauffahrtei vignettes inside a gilt border, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilder's numeral 56, impressed numeral 24.,

Condition

Knop has been repaired at its base and with a metal thread and nut fixing on the interior. Some wear to gilding on cover. Tiny amount of wear to gilding on spout.
