Description

  • 18cm., 7 1/8 in. high
painted in the style of Christian Friedrich Herold with a river landscape scene within an elaborate cartouche filled with Böttger lustre picked out in gilding and black enamel, flanked on either side with a branch of indianische Blumen and a bird and insect in flight, with a gilt scroll band at the rim,

Overall in fine condition with a tiny amount of wear to the gilding.
