Catalogue Note
This magnificent mirror is not only extraordinary for its size but also its spectacular decoration with profuse swags of polychrome Murano flowers demonstrating the virtuosity of the Murano craftsmen in the 19th century to make such large scale objects. Whilst it is common to see Murano glass chandeliers it is extremely rare to find a mirror as the offered example.
