Good condition overall with some minor dirt to the surface and in the crevices, with very minor wear to the paint consistent with age and handling. Few minor chips and lacks in the paint especially to the edges of the terrasse. A rectangular cavity is visible behind the Virgin, probably where a wooden cross can be inserted. The Virgin proper left hand may have been restored and her thumb is missing. The Christ proper right hand has been reattached.
