Condition
This lot consists of two ivory leaves. Good condition overall all with minor surface dirt in the crevices, a few fine hairline fissures to the ivory and scratches to the surface consistent with age and handling. Two drilling holes to the right edge of the leaf, probably remains of an old fixation. The two candles held by the angles appear to be missing. The frame with some oxidation and minor wear to the gilding. Extensive wear to the painted and gilt scene to the second leaf of the ivory.

Catalogue Note
