Description
- Gouache and lacquer, wood
comprising a wood box with sliding lid containing fifty-two circular playing cards, each painted in black (club), red (spade), yellow (heart) and green (diamond), the kings (rajas), queens (ranis) and knights each depicted in a different way, with foliate border, the wood box painted in gouache and lacquer with scene depicting a seated king and courtiers

Condition
In generally good condition, the box with minor chip to lid, some wear and small chips to extremities as well as rubbing with minor loss of paint, the cards in good condition with some minor wear and some with fold marks, colours bright, as viewed.
