Condition

The work is in good condition, the full size. The bird on the right has separated from the yellow organ. The Plexiglas case is cracked in the back of the bottom right corner.

Catalogue Note

Executed in 1987, this work is number 26 from an edition of 80 plus 10 artist's proofs.

The present work is an invitation to the artist's wedding to Lysiane Luong.  The paper wedding invitation is taped to the back of the Plexiglas box.  The image depicts the artist and his bride during their wedding ceremony at St. John The Divine Cathedral.  

Accompanying the work of art, a handwritten note reads:
"Something Old, Something Borrowed
Something New, Something Blue
and
Something for You,
With Love,
Lysiane and Red"
