Condition
Original canvas. Some minor, isolated traces of craquelure in the sky, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals some minor flecks of retouching in the sky corresponding to some of the above mentioned craquelure and one or two further small flecks. Some small flecks of retouching to the forehead of the girl.
Held in a large gilt composite frame.
