of shaped outline, the short ends curving inwards, the pierced apron carved with archaistic scrollwork of a pale yellow color imitating boxwood, all supported on slender square section legs terminating in hooked-scroll feet, joined by stretchers

Condition

The table is unsteady on its legs and racking because the curving side panel joinery on both sides is loose and separating. There have been restored breaks to the openwork decoration. There is some splitting to the grain and 'knots' and chips to the feet. The surface with expected wear overall.
