the stepped square-section top rail with pierced scrollwork panel above a pair of openwork confronting chilong centered by a  large circular marble panel, the square-section arms enclosing further chilong panels, the hardwood seat over shaped and beaded aprons carved with archaistic scrollwork, all on four sturdy legs ending in inward facing hoof feet
