of globular form, brightly enameled overall with ruyi-shaped reserves on either side with a scene of ladies playing weiqi in a courtyard, the circular cover enameled with a lotus in full bloom, the body, spout, and warming stand with blossoming peonies (4)

The handle is split, but remains attached to the teapot at the hinges, and all parts appear present. The interior of the cover, the teapot body, and the stand all have extensive areas of scattered bruises, cracks, and touch-up painting. Each piece has areas of minor dents and compression as well. Exposed metal areas show oxidation.
