each of baluster form, brightly painted around the exterior with two large phoenix in flight, reserved on a dense leafy peony scroll ground, the domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a lotus bud finial (4)

Condition

One cover with a large restored break to the rim. The vase with a hairline crack from rim to neck. The other cover with two large restored breaks to the rim and a visible chip. The jar has a hairline crack at the rim extending down the neck and the base is a bit uneven. Both vases with several areas of overpaint to lost overglaze enamels - particularly the yellow and aubergine enamels.
