the smallest pear-shaped and with wire-inlaid floral decoration; the second of bottle-form with a bulbous mouth, cast with a high-relief chilong coiled around the neck, the third, possibly Japanese, also bottle-form, the globular body rising to a tall, slender neck and everted rim, shallow cast to either side with a shaped reserve of a lady (3)

Provenance

Collection of Stephen Alexander Hunter (1851-1923), acquired while serving as a missionary in China from 1879-1891, and thence by descent.
