well carved, the figure standing with one hand raised holding a single lotus bloom, the other hand grasping the bow-tied sash securing his long floral-decorated robe, the pale gray stone with traces of red, black and green pigment, all supported on a separate rockwork base of mottled red and cream (2)

Condition

The figure's lower left portion has been restored, and the right foot has been restored as well. There are natural fissures and inclusions throughout the stone, and much wear to the painted decoration. Multiple sections of the base are broken and lost, and there are old labels affixed to the bases's top. The pegs connecting the figure are lost, with one having been replaced.
