A JADEITE GUANYIN AND CRANE BOULDER 20TH CENTURY

depicting a serene Guanyin standing on rockwork, one hand clasping a string of beads, the other hand outstretched, holding a vase over her head and pouring water down the side, the reverse with two cranes perched on a branch of a pine tree, the stone varying in color from dark apple green to a mottled pale green with russet inclusions

Acquired in Boston, Massachusetts in the early 20th century and thence by descent.
