  • Bronze
on three legs issuing from ram-head masks and set with opposing upright everted loop handles, an eight-character inscription along the rim, the fitted domed cover cast with three recumbent rams in high relief, rich brown patina with small patches of malachite encrustation (2)

Condition

The patina is uneven, the surface has been cleaned of encrustation and there are some small patched holes in the sides. There is a small hole in the rim of the body, just below the inner lip. There are small spots of green encrustation on the interior and exterior of the base. There are signs of wear consistent with age.
