Description

  • bronze
with a deep body and waisted neck, the sides flanked by a pair of phoenix-form handles, all supported on slightly flared foot with a lipped footring, the base with four characters reading zisun baoyong (for the treasured use of sons and grandsons)

Condition

There are minor nicks along the edges and some small patches of green encrustation. There is a 3/8 in. (1 cm) long patch of fill on the interior just below the mouth with a pin-prick size hole, and some casting irregularities and roughness around the interior of the neck. There are small rust patches on the interior.
