the rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior incised and enameled in green with two five-clawed dragons writhing through cloud and fire scrolls in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', all below a stylized band of clouds at the rim and reserved on a rich yellow ground, six-character mark in underglaze blue within double circles

Condition

There is a hairline crack approximately 1 1/4 in. (3.2 cm) long running from the rim and four restored chips to the rim, one chip with an associated hairline crack approximately 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm) long. There is associated overpainting to half the bowl on the interior.
