finely painted around the sides with a honeycomb diaper pattern, each cell enclosing a stylized shou character, between key-fret and further diaper bands variously incorporating florets or shou characters, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark in underglaze blue

In overall good condition with some minor firing imperfections and general signs of wear, including some stained scratches to the surface.
