of almost spherical shape rising to a waisted neck, the lobed mouth resembling the calyx, painted under the pale celadon glaze with a flowering peony growing from behind a garden rock, surrounded by bamboo and grasses, the foot ring coated with an iron-wash
Condition
The mouth rim has an approximately 1.8 cm long lacquer repair, two small glaze gaps and some pin prick sized burst bubbles. There are three polished chips to the inner foot ring.
