shaped into the form of a leaf supported on two feet, finely incised on the top with meandering leafy foliate scrolls, covered with a thin layer of translucent pale olive-green glaze, suffused with a fine network of stained crackles, the base with long curving spur marks encircling a shang character

Condition

The fragment has been formed into the shape of a leaf. There are minor nick along the edges, and a polished chip to the edge on the underside. The original foot has been reduced to form two feet surrounding spur marks and burst bubbles in the glaze. There are also some kiln adhesions.
