the rounded crestrail comprised of five scarf-joined members and set on straight back posts centered by a rectangular S-form splat, the side posts and recessed front posts curved and below outscrolled handgrips, the hardwood seat within a mitred frame, the four cylindrical legs secured by plain-shaped aprons and four stretchers of ascending height, the underside with a single traverse stretcher

Condition
There is a horizontal filled repair across the back of the splat. There is a filled crescent from split along the grain at the base of the splat. The joints have been consolidated and there is expected wear.
