one painted with vignettes of samurai within shaped reserves, separated by medallions enclosing flowers with elaborate borders, unsigned; the other depicting ladies and children on a terrace overlooking Kyoto on one side, and in a fishing community on the other, the base with one seal reading Matsumoto Hozan and the Yasuda Company trademark
